These are our most commonly asked questions:

What is the difference between Coaching vs. Counseling/Therapy?

There are undoubtedly many different definitions and ideas of what these practices look like and different perceptions of them. Because I cannot speak to every situation or practice, I’ll share with you a broad view of what my beliefs are, based off of my personal experience in working with both Coaches and Counselors/Therapists and also being in an industry where I work side by side with 100s of professionals in both fields.

The most significant difference is that Counseling/Therapy practices evaluate your current situation today and look backward to help you connect the dots to why you have the experiences you have today. Coaching assesses your current situation today and introduces the tools, teachings and best practices that are required to improve your situation moving forward.

What qualifies someone to be a success coach?

The best answer to this question is in someone’s experience.

There are many certifications and accreditations that someone can purchase to become a “certified” life coach. Unfortunately, many coaches hang their hats too heavy on these credentials alone. Sort of like “buying in” to becoming a life coach. Being an "effective" life coach isn’t that simple.

There are many organizations today that train and certify life coaches. Some are much better and have more credibility than others.

There are life coaches practicing today that have no formal training and zero dollars invested into their career, or you could find someone who’s invest as much as a formal college education.

I’ve chosen the path to invest in myself and, for the benefits of my clients, to have one of the highest levels of education and certification possible in the industry.

Education alone is nothing without hours and hours of service in the field of helping others. There is nothing more valuable than the experience that comes with years of work, continued personal growth and working with many clients over time.

More important than having what could be considered the equivalent of a “Masters Degree” in coaching certification, the years of dedication to my craft and thousands of clients I’ve worked is what gives me the confidence in being able to serve others at an extraordinary level.

How Much does working with you cost?

This question all depends on what “working with me” means. As I completely understand and appreciate this question, it’s like asking a mechanic how much does it cost to fix my car, without yet knowing what the challenge is or what the "real" fix would be.

Every person or company I work with has different needs, requires different solutions and a different scope of a work commitment from me. Once we've had a conversation, determine whether I can help you or not, get a clear and mutual understanding of what your specific needs are and what it will require of my time, I will propose an investment amount much lower than the value you’ll receive.

I can say this; there are many people that “work with me” for free. They do this by friending and following our Facebook page at Performance With Power, registering on our Twitter Account, signing up on our Website at www.performancewithpower.com and attending every free Live Webinar we do. In addition to that, I have solutions that range from a few hundred dollars to tens of thousands of dollars, depending on your specific needs and what you would love to accomplish.
